April 14--19--American Iris Society Convention* held in Austin, Texas.
April 24 @ 7:30pm--General Meeting:
The American Iris Society (AIS) CD Photo Presentation Program, "Irises And The Sections That Love Them" will be shown. The AIS is the parent club to various specialty clubs that are referred to as sections. This program will explain each section and the irises they focus upon. Handouts will be provided with information on each section, including the benefits of membership and details on joining.
AIS Sections: Median Iris Society (MIS), Society for Siberian Irises (SSI), Spuria Iris Society, Society for Japanese Irises, Reblooming Iris Society, Dwarf Iris Society, Society for Pacific Coast Native Irises, Species Iris Group of North America (SIGNA), Historic Iris Preservation Society (HIPS), Society for Louisiana Irises.
Free admission and parking. Non-members are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us!
